Rocktown, Rocksylvania (A Picture Post)

(I guess I can’t call this Wordless Wednesday since the first thing in this post is an unneeded amount of words. Aaaalso because it’s Tuesday. #Rebel.)

These are my photos from my trip to Rocktown, Georgia a few weeks ago with my friend Xander.) It was beautiful, and exhilirating, the hike was challenging but worth it, and I felt like Katniss if, when running into the Cornucopia, she grabbed  a ridiculously overpriced camera and a pair of hot pink sneakers instead of a bag full of camping supplies.

On the drive up we saw this place and had to stop…

It was seemingly-abandoned and chilling. After this the whole trip seemed like the first 30 minutes of a horror movie played over and over, until the characters and audience are so wound up from possible-terror that they jump at every leaf crunch in the middle of a winter forest.

Once we got to Rocktown, it was exactly as I’d imagined. That is… full of rocks.
